About terryadmin

My name is Terry Hinton from Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. My professional designations include a Master’s Degree in Social work and I am a master carpenter. My most recent adventure is developing my internet marketing business. This is what I will talk a little bit about first. After 4 years of learning and practice, my internet business is just beginning to make since and show promise. I think that most marketers can relate to what I am saying, because you go through many ups and down trying to find a niche that works for you as well as learning how to market. The learning how to market has been the hardest for me because my natural tendency is to be more of a consumer then a marketer. I have even been caught up in the “shinny nickel”, leave g my computer with a truck load of product paper weights. Maybe I can go back into the bag of tricks and use some of it someday. Another reality is that marketing strategies in today’s internet world change faster than you / I can prefect them. Through it all I have learned how to build websites, membership sites, affiliate marketing, and CPA marketing. Social-media traffic marketing is what I am struggling to learn at the present time. I have used and am fairly proficient and paid traffic methods. In total honesty I can say that I still remain very positive about my progress so far and anticipate excelling progress in my business for 2015. I believe one of the primary factors that will be at my side is that I have realized that I need to focus more and receive coaching. The current coaching program that I am totally excited about is - Quick Start Challenge with Dean Holland, Craig Crawford and Robert Phillips. In addition to my internet business, I continue to support myself and family through my self-employed efforts. My professional work include consulting, policy writing and staff development training for social service agencies. My master’s degree in social work and 15 years of direct work experience in social work provide the credentials needed to do so. My second self-employed environment is home construction. I have been doing various forms of construction work since about 1976. My area of focus is home renovations. I just take on as much work that I can do myself because the management of crews is just too much of a challenge for the gain. I hope this give you a gimps of who Terry Hinton is – at least on a professional level and I will add more to this profile in the very near future.

Ways to Make Money Online # 1 and #2

Hi – Terry Here

If you’ve been on the internet for more than a few minutes, you’ve likely seen at least one advertisement teaching you how to make thousands of dollars a minute, working from your underwear, in the comfort of your own home.

These ads are so ridiculously popular that if you’re like most people, you start doubting whether it really IS possible to make money online.

The truth is, it IS possible. It might be hard to make thousands of dollars a minute from the get-go, but there are certainly ways you can make money working from home with ease.

In this report, I am going to share 100 different ways in which you can create more income. I have tried to cover all types of methods for all different personality and skill types, and I am confident that you’ll be able to find at least a few that sound good to you.

While some of them require more work than others, please know that you can mix and match. For example, maybe you can do a few hours of forum moderation at $10 an hour for $30, and then make up the extra $70 doing something else. The key is to have fun and do whatever you enjoy.

I have given an overview of each idea, and then fleshed them all out a little bit so you could get started on whatever you like, immediately.

It is my sincere hope that you get a lot out of this report, and that you take action and start making money!

Without any further ado, let’s get started

———————————————————————

1. Forum Posting:

One of the easiest ways to make money online, if you have a flair for talking, is by forum posting.

A lot of webmasters have started hiring people to post on their forums so that their forums look busy and popular. They feel that by making their forums look more popular, they will be able to attract more long-term visitors.

When you’re posting in forums, all you would have to do is initiate new threads, or respond to existing ones, and keep conversations going. You may do this by posting interesting thoughts, thought-provoking conversation, or teaching people things.

A cool perk of this job is that you get to learn new things. Also, if you post in forums that you’re already interested in, you basically get paid to have fun.

In order for you to become a forum poster, here are some steps you can take:

  •  Browse through freelancing sites such as Elance.com, Guru.com, Odesk.com, etc.
  • Apply for forum posting jobs on those sites
  • Respond back to the buyer on time if you are called for an interview
  • Agree on the pay per post and the deadline
  • Get the job done within the accepted deadline

How much can I make out of forum posting?

For each forum post you make, the general prices range anywhere from $0.10 to $0.50 per post. If you have time to devote to this during the day and are able to make between 200 to 1000 posts (depending on how much your job is worth), then you can earn $100 a day. You can also, of course, do whatever you would like per day and then mix and match with another suggestion from our lists.

2. Forum Moderator:

As long as forums exist, forum moderators need to exist.

This is because webmasters need people to block negative comments, make sure things are running smoothly and forum users are getting their questions and comments responded to.

To be a forum moderator, you would need to monitor comments posted by users, delete spam, answer questions from users, and reply to user messages. You would also encourage threads, add new content to the site, and block comments posted by people who ignore forum rules.

If you have an interest in certain forums, this could be very interesting for you to do. Just like with forum posting, you also have the potential to learn a lot.

In order for you to become a forum moderator, here are some steps you can take:

  • Post a profile on freelancing sites such as Elance.com, Guru.com, and Odesk.com. Describe your interests and your levels of expertise.
  • Look for forum moderator jobs on the same freelancing sites, and apply for them.
  • Google forum moderation job openings.
  • If there are forums you’re interested in, check with the owner. A lot of people don’t post on freelancing sites but rather prefer to hire people who post a lot.

How much can I make out of moderating forums?

  • Depending on your role and experience, you can make anywhere from $3 to $20 an hour.

So I hope you are not only getting the concept of making money on line but also enjoying these real examples I am sharing.

More to come

Profit Canvas training update

Hey

As I promised – I want to just say a bit on how week two of the for week training went.

The main topic was about creating content. The ways discussed were:

Re-writing information – training you take

Document your experience and progress with developing your business

Do interviews with product creators

Do product reviews

There were lengthy discussions about each topic and lots of questions. Brett and Mike gave us many real examples from their business models to demonstrate these.

I will elaborate on these and the other points in the training session in my next post

God Bless

Terry

Profit Canvas –

Hello , Hello , Hello

Wondering why 3 Hello’s?? I do not know – just wanted to do it.

Hope things are well with everyone reading this and I just want to tell you about my new boost.

It is my new software and training adventure ” PROFIT CANVAS ” developed by Brett Rutecky, and Mike From Maine.
I have know Brett and Mike for just about two years through products I have bought from them. Off the hope I
will say that they have both stood behind their products and support 100%. That has boosted my trust level of these tow gentlemen big time.

So what did I get?

Profit Canvas is:

  1. The state of the art page builder
  2. Video Cash Cow Software
  3. Live webinar presentation software
  4. Pop up anywhere software
  5. Word Press plugins
  6. Products with re-sellers rights and
  7. Comes complete with training and support

In addition I also purchased the 4 week professional training program where Brett and Mike open the doors to their personal business to show me what a IM business looks like and how to duplicate it. Now that is well worth the price of admission x 10.

On Monday Nov 2, 2015 we completed the first training session and both men were true to form, by opening the door to part one of their business model. Wow – it was a real eye opener of how they keep things so simple but effective.  What an introduction. I the upcoming training they will pick it up a notch and show us more of their business model and how Profit Canvas can be an Integral part of our personal business plan and strategies. Pretty exciting. In fact our homework was to get our blog up and running. Fortunately I have this one , but part b of the home work was to start posting, so HERE I AM.

Well time to sign off for now – but keep an eye out for week 2, 3, and 4 Profit Canvas training up dates and how I am doing with the new powerhouse software suite.

As Red Green would say ( Keep your stick on the ice)

Over and out

It has been a long time

As you know one of the biggest challenges in the internet world is trying to focus and avoid information overload, which leads to more distraction.

Well guess what – I am in the trap again. Learning, learning, learning and not marketing.

So , I decided to tackle learning one traffic source at a time and get things going- because all the best products in the world will not get you no where without an audience. A buying audience.  And part of my keeping focused plan is to post my progress here. I am learning Facebook advertising first.

Hope this works – so her is a link to my first facebook ads link about fishing. Click this link : Good Fishing

Wish me luck

Where does the time go?

Good day all

It seems like it been forever since I was on my blog – feel dahhhhhh – but I guess that is life. The problem is life is to BIG. Work -Family_Friends_ House Stuff_Vehicle Stuff_ and the list goes on and on. And now I add my internet business to the pile. Wow . Well enough complaining. One the positive side of things , my doctor (after 100 different test) says I am in excellent health. Blood pressure and iron levels are high and the diagnoses he recommends is for me to donate blood twice a year. YEAAAAA – another TO DO. But I god one. Hopefully my iron level goes down and I maybe of life saving help to someone some day. This is a must do.

Well how is my internet business going.

My primary project right now is to hang in there as we were encouraged during the Quick Start Program but also trying to learn  Facebook and Bing Traffic strategies. I have tons of affiliate programs to promote and tons of PLR stuff but if no one sees them – no sales – no money, and as Steve Austin (one of the WWF wrestlers)  says “And Thats The Bottom Line” – you got to love it.

Well duty calls – some around the house stuff to do – then off to a couple meetings.

So hang in there fellow entrepreneurs. Remember what Les Brown says: :When life knocks you down – hope you land on your back – because if you are looking up – you can get up” – cool.

God Bless and Have a great day

Week Three of “Quick Start Challenge”

Wow

I was not able to listen to the live session but I just listened to the replay and all I can say is GREAT STUFF. I will be on the challenge of a optin form and squeeze page this week. I just can not say enough about how much I appreciate how Dean and the boys keep us moving through such simple to follow instruction. I believe it is the motivation, encouragement, enthusiasm, and positive spirit they bring to the table each week. I will also add – their knowledge of the business. I think I have said this before, but it bares repeating; the Quick Start Challenge training far outweighs all of the stuff I have done over the past three years because it truly takes you back to the basics and gets rid of all the fluff.

I need to keep my promise and expand a bit more on my the training benefits to me, but just can’t squeeze the time in right now – but it will come. I will also spend a bit of time talking about the other irons I have in the fire, but for now I just want to wish all the Quick Start Challenge team and fellow members the very best. And as the famous Red Green would say “Keep Your Stick on the Ice”. This is a great line for us Canadians.

God Bless

Terry

Stepping up to the plate

As my son would say “I did it dad”

Well I did my first video and posted it on YouTube today. That was the challenge form week two of “Quick Start Challenge”. I did not have the greatest of equipment at my disposal nor a lot of time on my hands, so I used my web cam on my laptop.  I look at it this way – taking action is what it is all about without excuse, and that is one promise I made to myself from the beginning. NO EXCUSES.

So I will keep it short and give you the Youtube Link:
